In a world that has become dominated with messages of health from social media, magazines, TV commercials and food manufacturers, it is easy to become confused about what your body actually needs in order to achieve optimal health.

So… the food that I eat needs to be clean food, paleo, ketogenic, gluten free, high protein, low fat, or wait, no high fat… but which fat, sugar is bad!! But doesn’t fruit contain sugar?! These messages are so overwhelming that many of us shy away from making any positive changes, it all just sounds too hard and unrealistic to maintain long term.

Hive Nutrition is here to make sense of all that confusion, and the first thing I can tell you is that the food we consume does not need to overwhelm us. It should be simple basic food that is natural and fresh, easy to prepare and tastes great. Our aim, at Hive Nutrition is to educate, support and inspire you, allowing your body to thrive and help you get the most out of life.

My name is Stacy Morgan, a mum of four, wife, dietitian, nutritionist, exercise enthusiast and food lover! Like most of you, my life is overflowing and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Unfortunately, keeping up with our time poor lifestyles means good nutrition often falls off our radar. I want to help you put nutrition higher on your priority list for both you and your kids with recipes that are easy to prepare, family friendly and made from ingredients that are easily accessible. Lets face it, who has time to run around specialty stores looking for ingredients you’ll use once before it hits it’s expiry date at the back of your pantry?

If you’ve had a little look around my website you may have gathered I am somewhat of a science nerd. I grew up in a science family, wandering university laboratories of a medical research school. Fast forward many years and my love of science and thirst for knowledge lead me to nutritional science, with the aim of using nutrition to optimise the health of myself and my growing children.

But why start another website, there are literally millions out there? If I can influence the quality of life of even one person, for me it is worth it. If that person is you, I’d be thrilled.

I hope my website will continue to grow and provide its users with fresh recipe ideas, education, the latest in nutrition and dietetics research and inspiration to allow you to use nutrition to improve your health and encourage you to love the life you live.
